How We Work Together

In-Home Sessions

Most behavioral work happens best in the environment where the dog lives. In-home sessions let us address real-world triggers and set your dog up for success in their actual space.

Outdoor & On-Leash Work

Parks, trails, and public spaces around Asheville. Ideal for leash reactivity, recall, and socialization work in real-world distractions.

Virtual Sessions

For clients outside our service area, or for specific skills that translate well to video. Available for Foundation Obedience and coaching sessions.

Common Questions

Yes. We work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. Our approach is tailored to the individual dog, not the breed.

It depends on the dog and the goals. A puppy or a dog with basic manners needs may see results in 4–6 sessions. Behavioral rehabilitation for fear or reactivity typically takes 6–12 weeks of consistent work, though it may be more or it may be less.

We use positive reinforcement and science-based behavior modification. We do not use punishment, prong collars, or e-collars. Our methods are effective, humane, and backed by the latest research in animal behavior.

Not currently. All sessions are private 1-on-1, which allows us to move at your dog's pace and address your specific situation without the stress of a group environment.

We serve Asheville and the surrounding areas including Weaverville, Black Mountain, Swannanoa, and Arden. Virtual sessions are also available.
